The RS20-1600M2M2SDAU switch is an unmanaged multi-mode fiber Ethernet switch that has been designed by Hirschmann Automation. This switch comes with 16 ports and one plug-in terminal block that enables the switch to receive voltage so it can work properly. This switch operates with a voltage rating of 12 to 48 Volts DC and a redundant voltage rating of 18 to 30 Volts AC. The Hirschmann Automation RS20-1600M2M2SDAU multi-mode fiber Ethernet switch can be mounted on a DIN Rail. This DIN Rail must be a 35-millimeter DIN Rail according to the DIN EN 60175 standards. When redundant power is used, the power supply unit supplies the device with the higher output voltage, and this voltage is then electrically isolated from the housing. This switch needs to be grounded to minimize the risk of having electromagnetic interference.
