The MAR1030-4OTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTFMMHPH rack mount switch is a MACH 1000 Gigabit Ethernet switch manufactured by Hirschmann. It is equipped with 24 configurable ports with a 2-Gigabit or 4-Gigabit uplink design. It is also equipped with a PoE port for an additional power supply. The switch has a fanless design and it is efficient in operation. The operating voltage range of the switch is 110 to 250 Volts DC or 110 to 230 Volts AC. The current consumption rating at 230 Volts AC is 170 milliamps maximum, if all the ports of the switch are equipped with fiber cables. The MAR1030-4OTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTFMMHPH switch consumes a total of 38.5 Watts of power and dissipates 132 BTU per hour as heat during regular operation. The switch can be installed in both line and star topologies. Both single mode and multimode fiber cables are compatible with the switch. It also uses twisted pair cables for connection with devices up to 100 meters away.
The front side of the Hirschmann MAR1030-4OTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTFMMHPH rack mount switch is equipped with a 3-pin terminal block for the signal contact, and a 2-pin terminal block for the power supply. The switch can be configured by using programming software. It has management address conflict detection, address relearning detection, signal contact, and SFP management features. The outer body of the switch has a protective coat of paint that helps it to withstand harsh industrial conditions. It can be stored at a temperature between -40 and 85 degrees Celsius when not in use.
