The Hirschmann GRM20-MMMMTTTTSZ9HHS Media Module is a rack-mounted industrial Ethernet media module that is designed for industrial automation applications with Hirschmann Greyhound series switches. This device is designed to work with an industrial Ethernet network switch that conforms to the IEEE standard. The GRM20-MMMMTTTTSZ9HHS media module has a maximum port density of 8. It offers 4 standard 10/100 BASE-TX RJ45 twisted-pair ports and 4 additional 10/100 Mbps FE multimode fiber-optic ports. The GRM20-MMMMTTTTSZ9HHS Media Module has an RJ45 V.24 interface for the local connection of a station manager device or a PC. It also has a USB configuration port where the configuration data and switch operating system can be stored on an external flash-based configuration device and where these things can be easily uploaded. All network parameters can be monitored and visualized by using the Hirschmann HiVision network management software. The users can also assign IP addresses as well as configure new switches by using the HiDiscovery and HiView configuration software.
