The D4K-12TP-RJ45 module is a media module that is manufactured by Hirschmann for the DRAGON series rack mount switches. This DRAGON media module has 12 ports which are FE/GE TX ports and it is field-replaceable. THe D4K-12TP-RJ45 media module can be connected to a Hirschmann DRAGON series rack mount backbone switch to provide the backbone switch with additional connection ports. All 12 of the ports have RJ 45 sockets and they can all support Ethernet speeds of 10/100/1000 Mbit/s. These ports use TP or twisted-pair cables to make their connections and they support the auto-polarity, auto-negotiation, and auto-crossing functions. The D4K-12TP-RJ45 media module has LED status indicators for each of its ports and for power and link status updates.
