It offers an enhanced thermal management system with a very high MTBF rating that provides operational reliability and flexibility in harsh industrial conditions. The RS20-1600S2M2SDAUHHXX.X. Managed Switch is designed for Ethernet-based industrial automation applications that require fast and reliable Ethernet connectivity. Like the other RS20 Basics managed switches, the RS20-1600S2M2SDAUHHXX.X. The RS20-1600S2M2SDAUHHXX.X. Managed Switch, like all the RS20 Basics series switches, offers dual software configuration capabilities. By using the Hirschmann HiDiscovery and HiView configuration tools, the users can easily assign IP addresses and configure the switch with a password-based web interface without a web browser or Java-enabled applications on the PC. The programming and commission time can be further reduced via USB configuration. The application data and latest OS updates can be stored on an external flash-based storage device, thus automating and simplifying the setup and replacement processes. The RS20-1600S2M2SDAUHHXX.X. Managed Switch has a total port density of 16 ports which include 14 standard 10/100BASE-TX ports, one 100BASE-FX single-mode SC fiber-optic port, and one 100BASE-FX multi-mode SC fiber-optic port. The RS20-1600S2M2SDAUHHXX.X. Managed Switch has 2 rear power connectors that are the 6-pin plug-in type for power connections.
