The RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Industrial Ethernet Switch is a fully configurable managed Ethernet switch from the Hirschmann RS20 Basics series. The RS20 switch family offers premium electronic components and an advanced thermal management system for high levels of operational reliability and flexibility. The RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Switch supports both the store and forward-switching modes. Like the other RS20 managed switches, the RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Switch offers an easy and simplified programming process via network management software, a USB configuration, or a serial V.24 interface. It offers a plug and play capability via its simplified terminal block wiring for fast setup and control without requiring any specialized tools. Assigning IP addresses and port configuration are achieved by using the all-in-one HiVision network management software, which allows the users to easily monitor and visualize the network parameters as well as to configure 1 switch or multiple switches simultaneously.
The RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Switch supports flash-based configuration via a USB interface, and it also has a Serial V.24 interface for interfacing with an external management system. The RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Switch offers high-grade internal components that give it a high level of reliability in extreme industrial conditions, and it comes with an effective fanless thermal management system that provides a high Mean Time Before Failure (MBTF) rating. The RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Switch supports Safety Extra-Low Voltage (SELV) operation, and it has an operating voltage range between 9.6 to 60 Volts DC or 18 to 30 Volts AC (Redundant). The RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Switch comes with a 6-pin plug-in terminal block for connecting to a power source, and it also has a fault contact that is used for monitoring the switch functions. The RS20-1600M4M4SDAUHH Managed Switch has 14 standard RJ45 fast Ethernet ports and 2 multimode ST fiber-optic ports that support full-duplex and half-duplex configuration for a total of 16 ports.
