Every media module that is connected to the MM3-4FXM2 managed Ethernet switch increases the number of ports that are available for connecting network segments in the system. The cables that this switch can use for making connections include twisted pair cables, single-mode fiber optic cables, and multi-mode fiber optic cables. The MM3-4FXM2 managed Ethernet switch can be mounted easily on a DIN Rail and it can be managed easily with several different options, including Web browsers and specialized management software.
