The Hirschmann Bobcat BRS50-8TX/4SFP-HL switch is a managed industrial Ethernet switch. It is a fanless device which is designed for DIN Rail mounting. The housing is made of PC-ABS material and it is IP 30 rated. There are twelve ports in total on the switch including 8 copper Gigabit ports and 4 fiber SFP slots which can support up to 2.5 Gbps data rates. The 8 copper Gigabit ports are 10/100/1000BASE-TX ports with RJ-45 sockets. They can be used with twisted pair network cables measuring up to 100 meters in length. The fiber SFP slots can accommodate both multi-mode and single-mode fiber SFPs. The interfaces which are available on the BRS50-8TX/4SFP-HL managed switch include one USB-C local management port, one 2-pin plug-in terminal block for digital input, and one 6-pin plug-in terminal block for the power supply/signaling contact. The switch requires dual DC input voltage ranging from 12 to 24 Volts DC.
