The OZD 485 G12 PRO Repeater Module is a FiberINTERFACES series universal fiber optic repeater module designed by Hirschmann. It is used to convert electrical RS 485 signals into optical signals. The OZD 485 G12 PRO Repeater Module can transfer data at rates from 0 to 2 Mbit/s. It supports full-duplex operation with a 4-wire interface. The pollution class of the module is Class 2. It has 3.5 Watts of rated power consumption. It can be used to construct a universal full-duplex transmission system. The front of the module contains LED indicators, a switch, and 3 ports for connections. Channel 1 on the OZD 485 G12 PRO Repeater Module has the responsibility to receive and send the data to the optical transmitter.

The OZD 485 G12 PRO Repeater Module uses an NEC Class 2 power source with extra-low voltage. It can handle up to 3000 meters of air pressure and a -25 to 80 degrees Celsius storage temperature range. The protection class of the module is IP 20. It has a 12-pin screw terminal block for port one electrical connection. The channels of the module act as pure receivers and pure transmitters.
