The Cisco PWR-C45-4200ACV is one of the various power supplies options offered to provide the required Power over Ethernet (PoE) scale on the Cisco catalyst 4500 E series platform. It requires a single phase source AC and the operating voltage ranged between one hundred volts (100 V) and two hundred and forty volts (240 V) of alternating current, AC. It supplies up to 4200 W for both data and voice PoE.

The PWR-C45-4200ACV has compatibility with the following 4500 E series switches; Catalyst 4503-E, 4506-E, 4507R-E, 4510R-E, 4507R+E and 4510R+E. the minimum Cisco IOS software release required being 12.2 (25) EWA. There are four versions for the Power over Ethernet (PoE); Cisco Catalyst 4500 Prestandard PoE, 802.3af-compliant PoE (@ 15W), 802.3at-compliant PoE + (@ 30W), and Universal PoE (UPOE) (@ 60W). The maximum kVA rating is 5.25 kVA with a minimum holdup time of 20 milliseconds (Ms).

The AC input frequency being 50 / 60 Hz.
