The WS-C2960CPD-8PT-L is a switch in the Cisco catalyst 2960-C series of switches. It features 8 x 10/100 Ethernet ports and 2 x 1 GB (PoE and input) uplinks. It is a small form factor and offers a fan less and therefore noiseless operation.

This catalyst runs on the LAN Base version of the Cisco IOS software which cannot be upgraded. It can deliver advanced Layer 2 switching with Layer 2, Layer 3 and Layer 4 services (including wireless LAN, video and voice services).
Power information
The Cisco Catalyst WS-C2960CPD-8PT-L does not require a power supply. Customers can provide power to the WS-C2960CPD-8PT-L by using the internal power supply. The internal power supply makes provisions for input voltages between 100 and 240 V AC. The WS-C2960CPD-8PT-L has an option for an external power adapter if preferred. The supplied AC power cord (pwr-adpt) can be used to connect the AC power connector to an AC power outlet.
