The WS-C3850-48XS is a catalyst switch manufactured by Cisco. It belongs to the catalyst 3850 series which are built to connect both wired and wireless access. Members of these series are fitted with special features that allow them to be secure, resilient and easy to operate.
Specifications

In order to effectively monitor the state of the WS-C3850-48XS at every point in time, Cisco has included status indicators to give details on Port transmission speed, port duplex mode, power, system and active modes.
It has an installed camera with a size of 8 Gigabytes. The WS-C3850-48XS comes with an installed RAM size of 8 gigabytes. It does not support stackwise-480 and stackpower technology.
Power Supply
As it is with most others in its series, the WS-C3850-48XS also is fitted with an internal power supply. Thus device is provided with 750 Watts of power and requires a nominal voltage of 120 or 230 Volts at a frequency of 50 or 60 Hertz to function optimally. The WS-C3850-48XS also features a front to rear airflow and can accommodate a maximum of 2 installed power supplies.
The power redundancy feature in this device is optional (1+1) and also with optional power supply.
A five year warranty service is also included for the WS-C3850-48XS.
