The Cisco Catalyst PWR-C45-1400AC is a redundant power supply module developed specifically for the Cisco 4500 and 4500-E Series of Switches. It can be installed into any 4500 Series switch to increase its power capacity, so that it can distribute more power to the devices connected to the network. By using the Cisco PowerWise technology, which manages the power consumption of the system, it can be used to provide power only where needed. All of that at a reasonable price of less than 900$.
Power Capacity
This power supply provides up to 1400 W of AC current for its device. In order to prevent overheating, it is provided with an internal cooling fan.
Stacking
The PWR-C45-1400AC can be stacked with another similar power supply in order to increase the power capacity of the switch so that you can connect more devices to the network.
Tech Specs
The power supply can run on 85-264 VAC input voltage with 16-7 A current. The frequency is 50/60 Hz. Concerning the output, the specifications are as following: 1360 W maximum power output, 3.3-12 V output and 113.4-12.2 A circuit. The minimum holdup time is 20 ms.
