About PWR-760AC

Product Overview

PWR-760AC is an alternating current power supply for modern network switches. It was created by Arista to serve as an additional redundant supply in Arista 7124S, 7148S(SX), 7120T, 7140T & 7048  Ethernet switches.

Power supply

PWR-760AC provides 750 Watt power for the device it powers. This is why it is ideal as a redundant power supply for PoE (Power over Ethernet) switches since those use only about 300 Watts  of power and distribute everything else to the devices that are connected to it. That way, the overall energy consumption of the system is much lower and there is no need to install additional wires to power devices individually.

Configurations

The power supply comes in one single package. It does not need any software to function. You just plug it into the Switch with its hot-plug technology. The PWR-760AC  has an internal cooling fan to prevent the supply from overheating and thus prolonging its lifecycle and the reliability of its performance.

Tech support and Service

Hardware Network offers a 1-year warranty for most of its products in order to guarantee the reliability of its products and provide support for all of its clients. You can also ask questions and obtain some installation and configuration guides via online feedback.

Additional information

This switch weighs only 5 lbs (2.6 kg) and can be mounted into the switch by using a hot-plug. Its End of sales (EOS) was due in 2013, however, since many of the supported Switches are still used, the power supply is still in demand.
