The SPIDER II Giga 5T/2S EEC Jumbo Switch is made to be an economical, yet highly reliable switch solution that meets all the relevant industry standards. It is designed for industrial automation applications such as sensors, webcams, printer servers, and WLAN applications. The SPIDER II Giga 5T/2S EEC Jumbo Switch is designed to provide long-term operational reliability and flexibility even under extreme industrial conditions. It is designed for extreme temperature applications with an ambient operating temperature range of -40 and 70 degree Celsius and ingress protection rating of IP 30.
The SPIDER II Giga 5T/2S EEC Jumbo Switch offers 5 high-speed Gigabit RJ-45 Ethernet ports that support auto-negotiation, auto-crossing, and auto-polarity capability over 100 meters of maximum connection distance by using twisted pair (TP) cables. The SPIDER II Giga 5T/2S EEC Jumbo Switch also has 2 SFP fiber-optic ports that support a full-duplex configuration. These fiber-optic ports operate in both multimode and single-mode and they provide fiber-optic patches over distances of 550 meters in multimode and 20 kilometers in single-mode. The SPIDER II Giga 5T/2S EEC Jumbo Switch has an operating voltage range of 9.6 to 32 Volts DC (24 Volts DC nominal) and a maximum current rating of 275 milliamps at 24 Volts DC. It also has a net power consumption rating of 6.6 Watts and a mean time between failure value of 1,001,113 hours. The SPIDER II Giga 5T/2S EEC Jumbo Switch features jumbo frame support with up to 9,014 Bytes of user data. It also has diagnostic LEDs that show the power, data rate, and link statuses.
