The SPIDER II 8TX/2FX EEC Unmanaged Ethernet Rail Switch is an industrial rail switch which belongs to the Hirschmann SPIDER II series of products. It is an entry-level industrial unmanaged Ethernet rail switch that supports the store and forward switching modes with fast Ethernet capabilities. The SPIDER II 8TX/2FX EEC Unmanaged Ethernet Rail Switch comes with 4 LED indicators that help to get status information from the network. This unmanaged Ethernet switch is used in applications that are less dependent on the switch management features. It offers a variety of connector options for single-mode or multimode fiber optic ports. This easy-to-install module helps to expand the users’ networking capabilities. The SPIDER II 8TX/2FX EEC Unmanaged Ethernet Rail Switch allows the users to take advantage of Ethernet communication while reducing the costs and increasing the performance level.    

The SPIDER II 8TX/2FX EEC Unmanaged Ethernet Rail Switch has a 3-pin plug-in terminal block, an IP 30 protection rating, 260 grams of weight, and dimensions of 35 x 138 x 121 millimeters. It does not provide signaling contacts for power supply connections. The switch can transmit a large volume of data at high speed while maintaining the required communication quality level. Some of the most important ratings of the SPIDER II 8TX/2FX EEC Switch are an operating voltage range of 9.6 Volts to 32 Volts, a current consumption rating of 330 milliamps, and power consumption rating of 8.4 Watts. The installation process has 4 steps which are connecting the terminal block, mounting the device on a DIN Rail, installing the terminal block, and connecting the data line. The device is ready for installation and operation when it arrives. It is suitable for smooth and uninterrupted Ethernet communications.
