The BRS20-4TX/2FX-EEC Managed Switch is a next generation compact managed switch manufactured by Hirschmann and Belden. It belongs to the BRS20 product family and it comes with a total of 6 ports. This managed switch features a Time Sensitive Network (TSN) Ethernet layer and it supports DIN Rail mounting. The device has a wide range of features and specifications including a compact DIN Rail enclosure type and four 10/100 BaseTX RJ45 fixed ports and two 100 BaseFX multimode fiber ports along with SC Duplex connectors. Other notable features of this device include real-time time-sensitive network Ethernet support that helps with the easy transmission of data. The advanced security features of this device include a wire-speed access control list (ACL) feature as well as a feature for the prevention of the automatic denial of service (DoS). The extended operating temperature range of the BRS20-4TX/2FX-EEC Managed Switch is from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius.

The Hirschmann BRS20-4TX/2FX-EEC Managed Industrial Switch has support for the “Hiper Ring” redundancy protocol, and for the RSTP and MRP redundancy protocols. This device operates on a voltage rating of 24 to 48 Volts DC, and it features a fanless design and it has plastic housing for protection. It weighs about 420 grams and has the IP 30 protection class. This managed industrial switch has a power consumption rating of 7 Watts and a power output rating of 24 BTU per hour as heat. The Hirschmann BRS20-4TX/2FX-EEC Managed Industrial Switch supports the star and the line network topologies and it comes with a Twisted Pair (TP) network cable with a length of up to 100 meters.  The storage temperature range of this unit is from -40 to 70 degrees Celsius and the supported relative humidity without condensation is 1 to 95 percent.
